Just 24 miles west of Powell is the Yellowstone Park gateway community of Cody, Wyoming. US Hwy 14 Alternate runs through Powell, connecting the Big Horn Canyon National Recreations Area east of Lovell to Yellowstone Park’s East Entrance through Cody, Wyoming.
The Park County Fairgrounds are north of US Hwy 14A (Coulter Avenue in Powell). Just take Coulter Avenue to Ferris and you will be at the main entrance of the fairgrounds. The Events Department office is the located in the office building on the left.
